Casa Tiger Tracks

A Nostalgic Spring Break Adventure: Casa Tiger Tracks Day Camp

In the heart of our community lies a hidden gem, brimming with stories of the past and echoes of joyful laughter.

The Casa Community Center stands proudly, its walls preserving the history of what was once the bustling cafeteria of the old Casa School.

This was not just a school; it was a place where the spirit of the tiger roamed, inspiring young minds with its fierce determination and courage.

This spring break, we are reviving the legacy of the school mascot with the Casa Tiger Tracks Day Camp.

Join us for the first annual Casa Tiger Tracks Spring Break Day Camp—a four-day journey of discovery for young minds during their school break.

Our camp is made possible in part by a generous CDC foundational grant aimed at educating our community.

Through engaging programs, we are planting seeds of knowledge and responsibility, focusing on essential topics like recycling and environmental stewardship.

What makes this camp truly special isn't just the fun activities and new friendships. Thanks to the CDC grant, we are transforming the community center into a safe haven, equipped with generators to ensure it's always ready as a heating and cooling station during power outages. This significant development means that, no matter the circumstance, our center will be a reliable refuge with continuous electricity—a critical initiative we're excited to share and grow.

We're thrilled to announce the inclusion of community helpers, bringing valuable experiences and support to our campers. Additionally, we're excited to welcome the CALS (Central Arkansas Library System) Book Mobile. Kids will have the opportunity to get their very own library cards, opening the doors to endless adventures through reading. Starting from this camp, the Book Mobile will be visiting the Casa Community Center monthly, nurturing a growing love for books and learning.

If you ever wandered these halls, ate in that cafeteria, or worked there, you have a story to tell. Feel free to come and join us—volunteer, just visit, have lunch, and share your stories with these kids. Let's transform this beloved space back into a hub of energy and learning, where stories from the past inspire new generations. We'll rekindle the spirit of the tiger, encouraging children to find their inner strength and make memories of laughter and friendship they will carry with them, just as the walls of the old cafeteria hold stories from years before.

Beyond the camp, the Casa Community Center also hosts senior lunch and bingo every Monday and Tuesday—inviting the community to engage, relax, and connect within this cherished space. Each gathering is a continuation of our community’s story, inviting participants of all ages to come together in harmony.

Casa Tiger Tracks Spring Break Day Camp—where history meets adventure, and every child becomes part of our story, echoing the legacy of the tiger.

This is just the beginning, and we're ready to grow, packing each day full of fantastic experiences and the spirit of community.
